A: What did you do last weekend?
B: I saw a movie with some friends.
A: What did you see?
B: "American Beauty''. Have you seen
it?
A: No, not yet. What did you think of it?
Was it any good?
B: Well I liked it, but my friends thought
it was boring. It's kind of artsy. Have you seen any good movies lately?
A: Let's see...I saw that new one with Tom
Cruise--What's it called?
B: "Eyes Wide Shut"?
A: No, the newer one.
B: ''Magnolia" ?
A: Yeah, that's the one. I thought it was
pretty good. l'm looking forward to seeing
the new Robin Williams movie, "Bicentennial
Man".
B: What have you heard about it?
A: I saw a preview that looked good, and there was a great
review in the newspaper. I think they gave it four stars.
B: Is it a comedy?
A: I don't think it's really a comedy, but
it looks like it has some funny parts. It's
a story about a robot who becomes a man.
Have you heard anything about it?
A: I saw a poster at the theater. I like Robin Williams so I'll probably
go to see it. Hey, did you see "Green
Mile'' ?
A: Yeah, I thought it had some good parts
but it was too disturbing for me.
B: The execution scenes were pretty graphic. I thought Michael Clark Duncan was amazing,
though!
